Join us for the return of PAWS at The Underline every first Saturday of the month from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Sound Stage Plaza sponsored by Florida Power & Light.

On Saturday, May 7th, avoid making lines at the shelter and book an appointment to Spay or Neuter your pet FREE at The Underline Brickell Backyard. Services will only be offered through appointments. To schedule an appointment call 311. When scheduling multiple pets for surgery, please make sure to request an appointment for each pet. Pets over 50 lbs will not be spayed or neutered at The Underline, only at the Animal Service Doral or Homestead locations. The day before surgery all pets must be fasted and avoid food after midnight.

PAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare Saturdays) is a programming series for pet lovers in partnership with Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department, Friends of Miami Animals Foundation (FoMA), and Friends of The Underline (FUL). This year, PAWS will offer pet lovers a variety of services from free microchipping, vaccinations, dog training services, pet adoptions, spay and neutering services, farmer markets for pets and much more. Getting there:

•⁠ 🚆Take the Metrorail to Brickell Metrorail Station, exit north, and walk to Sound Stage, located right before the crossing to 8th street.

•⁠ 🚴‍♂️ Walk or bike (bike racks on The Underline as SW 1st Avenue and SW 1st Street) to Sound Stage, located right before the crossing to 8th street.

•⁠ 🚗 If you drive, please use nearby public parking lots at Brickell City Centre and Publix Mary Brickell Village.
