by Meg Daly

WHAT: Friends of The Underline and Baptist Health South Florida present an interactive exhibit and community activities Jan. 25-Feb. 28 at South Miami Hospital.

Friends of The Underline are leading the initiative to transform the underutilized land below Metrorail from the Miami River to Dadeland South into a 10-mile linear park, urban trail and living art destination. The master plan, designed by James Corner Field Operations in NYC (designers of the High Line in New York City) was completed in December 2015.

To inform and energize the community of the project, South Miami Hospital joins Friends of the Underline to host a series of events and display renderings of The Underline next to the Hospital’s campus.
