Friends of The Underline share the sad news that Underline Board of Directors executive member, community leader and leading attorney Parker Thomson passed away on Friday, November 3rd at the age of 85. Among other incredible accomplishments, Parker was a devoted husband to wife Vann and father to Friends of The Underline founder Meg Thomson Daly, and Jamieson Thomson Thomas, Peter Thomson and Parker Thomson. Parker and a team of attorneys at Hogan Lovells have devoted thousands of pro bono legal counsel hours to propel The Underline project forward to become the fastest moving industrial use project of its scope in the country. The community owes a debt of gratitude to Parker’s vision, dedication and conviction to making Miami a better place for all of us. He will not be forgotten as his legacy continues on with the construction of The Underline.
