Join Our New Walk Club: Walking with Purpose!

Looking to meet new people while staying active? Walking with Purpose is a brand-new walk club designed to foster meaningful connections through movement and conversation. Hosted by Amigos Meet in partnership with The Underline, this event pairs a refreshing 2-mile walk with engaging, guided conversations.

What to Expect:

• Meet at 6 PM at Thyme Machine (located in The Underline’s Hammock Playground) The event will be held at The Underline’s Hammock Playground, located across the street from 1523 SW 1st Ave. Google Pin.Getting there: The Underline’s Hammock Trail Playground
• Walk begins between 6:30-6:40 PM and will cover 2 miles.

• Engage in speed friending-style conversations using curated question cards provided by The Underline.
• Enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where you can build friendships, find companionship, and strengthen your sense of community.

Whether you’re new to the area, looking to expand your social circle, or simply want to get moving in good company, this walk club is for you! Come walk, talk, and connect one step at a time.

Getting There: Transportation & Parking

•⁠ 🚆 Take the Metrorail to the Brickell Metrorail Station, exit south, and walk toward The Hammock Playground on SW 15th Road and SW 1st Avenue.

•⁠ 🚴‍♂️ Walk or bike (bike racks are located at The Hammock Playground) to The Hammock Playground located at SW 1st Avenue and SW 15th Road below Metrorail. There is a bike path located along SW 1st Avenue.

•⁠ 🚗 If you drive, please use the metered spaces on SW 1st Avenue after crossing SW 15 Road or the nearby parking garages after crossing SW 15 Road and heading south on SW 1st Avenue.
