Colors of Miami at The Underline

May 10, 2022
6:30 pm | 8:30 pm

We invite you to this massive community block party to close out this year’s 10 Days of Connection!

This event will include complimentary music from Guitars Over Guns, a 30-minute conversation with 4 Miami leaders (Liz Alarcon, David Roper, Alejandro Gonzalez and Gepsie Metellus) representing the communities, and neighborhoods surrounding The Underline, and more opportunities to connect with your community.

Come, learn about the experience of people from different backgrounds living in Miami, and share yours too! Make sure you bring a water bottle, sunscreen, light snacks, and a raincoat/umbrella to have a pleasant community gathering. Bring a friend, your pets, your family, or a co-worker. Everyone is welcome!

About the 10 Days of Connection

In recent years, people have become increasingly divided across lines of difference. Incidents of hate have increased and tolerance for differing ideas has decreased. The 10 Days of Connection was born to challenge divisiveness!

For 10 days each year (May 1 – May 10), we invite the entire community to do the opposite: break down silos, engage in acts of connection, and celebrate differences. We do this by organizing events (also known as Connection Experiences).

As long as human conflict prevails, the 10 Days of Connection will continue to exist. JOIN THE MOVEMENT!
