It is with sincere … enthusiasm that we, the Netherlands Consulate General in Miami, fully support the activities of The Underline.

The Underline has the potential of connecting the different districts and functions of the bigger Miami-Dade area in a way that attracts tourists, gives local people places to recreate and pulls commuters out of their cars which will lead to less congestion.

… Together with Friends of The Underline, Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, and the Dutch Cycling Embassy, we have organized workshops and events to promote safe cycling, improve the bicycling infrastructure and recognize the health and wellness of cycling in our community.

As a cycling, sustainable and innovative nation we support and endorse any efforts done by The Underline to transform Miami into a cycling friendly, sustainable, smart and safe city.  The Underline project underlines this vision. If you build it, they will come.
